HOLLYWOOD, CA โ Brian Wilson, founder of the Beach Boys, recently passed away at the age of 82, leaving behind a legacy that forever changed the landscape of the music industry. The musician was revered by artists and fans alike. From Elton John and Bob Dylan all the way to the likes of Katy Perry, Wilson's influence can be felt.
Wilson helped compose and arrange hits such as โGood Vibrations,โ โCalifornia Girlsโ and dozens of other summertime anthems, marking him as one of the worldโs most influential musicians. The Beach Boys, which included two of Wilson's brothers, his cousin and a close family friend, rank among the most popular music groups of the rock era, boasting more than 30 singles in the Top 40 and worldwide sales of more than 100 million.
As per AP, Wilson had been under a court conservatorship to oversee his personal and medical affairs, with Wilsonโs longtime representatives in charge.
