LOS ANGELES, CA โ The Golden Globes returned to the world stage Tuesday night, dazzling audiences with an unforgettable evening of excitement as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) celebrated the 80th anniversary of their signature awards show hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael.
Anticipation ran high at the event, as it marked the showโs return to television after a scandal-plagued couple of years. The telecast of last yearโs awards show was canceled amid mounting criticism surrounding HFPAโs ethical lapses and lack of diversity.
The stars were also back on the red carpet this year, wowing fans with chic and eclectic fashion styles as well as sartorial elegance.

Among the big winners of the evening: โThe Banshees of Inisherinโ took home the award for best picture, musical or comedy. โThe Fabelmansโ won the Golden Globe for best motion picture, drama.
In the television categories, โHouse of the Dragonโ won the Golden Globe for best drama television series, and "Abbott Elementary" scored a win for best television series, musical or comedy.
