A man was killed when he crashed a pickup into a concrete barrier near San Ysidro, authorities said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was killed when he crashed a pickup into a concrete barrier near San Ysidro, authorities said Monday.
Micah Pietila-Wiggs, 21, of Chula Vista, was traveling alone in his Ford F-150 when -- for reasons still under investigation -- he collided with the road barrier and rolled over on southbound Interstate 5 around 5:16 a.m. Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Pietila-Wiggs was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
