DANA POINT, CA — Dana Point residents are in for a cloudy Memorial Day weekend, the National Weather Service reported.

According to the service, Memorial Day weekend will bring cool temperatures and patch drizzle throughout the Southland.

The chance of rain starts Saturday morning as weather forecasters predict patchy drizzle, cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-'60s. Residents can expect a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday night.

On Sunday, residents will experience much of the same — patchy showers in the morning giving way to cool temperatures and cloudy skies, with a higher chance of rain Sunday night.

On Memorial Day, residents can expect a relatively rain-free day with cloudy skies and temperatures ranging from 63 to 68.
