Fun Event at Irvine Great Park Farm Food Lab May 27th Starting 10a.m
Upcoming CRFG Chapter and Public event Scheduled for Saturday May 27th Open from 10 am to 2pm
Presented by South OC California Rare Fruit Growers,
we will Have :
1) Tuffy the miniature chicken, and two of her other miniature chicken friends- Beaker and Cola.
If while at the event, any attendee collects 15 or more small pieces of plastic or trash on the grounds of the farm food lab, they will get to feed the chickens with the food we provide. 30 or more pieces, then they can hold and / or pet one of the chickens. The chicken's will be in a different section of the Farm Food Lad then the normal chickens. We will be on the far right side.
2) Grafting of plant demonstrations. There will also be hands on opportunities for attendees who sign the waiver, and bring their own grafting knife. Prior to the event we have made videos describing possible issues to expect when grafting, this way more people are prepared ahead of time and make better use of the instructions. If you or someone you know is good at grafting or even another different method of propagating plants and want to speak or answer questions at the event, let us know. The link to the Videos is HERE

3) Soil talk / discussion by Soil Expert Roger Aguinaga of Aguinaga Green who has over 53 years of experience with Soils. . http://www.aguinagagreen.com
4) Free pots to plant in. 5 free 2.5 gal pots to plant in to the 1st 100 attends

5) Free 2 gallon bucket with lid to the 1st 75 attendees. Food grade, previously used for icing or Frosting. Great for storing food stuff, or toys . Snap on lid style
You can attend anytime between the 10 and 2 pm time frame. the only part that is one time is the soil discussion starting at 10am
6) Flower seed packets will be given to attendees.
