How Much Rain Did Dana Point Get During This Week's Showers?

DANA POINT, CA — After rain and gloomy weather passed over Orange County roadways and neighborhoods for the start of March, the clouds have begun to part — for now.

Across the county, most Orange County cities saw between .59 inches to 1.54 inches of rain over the last three days, the National Weather Service reported.

Orange County mountain communities saw the most rain, with Leach Dickey Canyon reaching 1.97 inches of rain and Holy Jim Canyon reported 1.52 inches of rain.

Coto de Caza saw a notable downpour with 1.57 inches of rain over the last three days.

Here's a look at rainfall counts across Orange County over the last five days:

• Seal Beach reported .63 inches of rain at the Seal Beach Pump Station.
• Rancho Santa Margarita reported 1.57 inches of rain in Coto de Caza, and 1.52 inches of rain in Holy Jim Canyon.
• Laguna Beach reported .87 inches of rain at the Laguna Coastal Watershed.
• Mission Viejo also reported .98 inches of rain at the Aliso Creek Watershed.
• Newport Beach reported .87 inches of rain at the Newport Bay Watershed.
• Lake Forest reported .71 inches of rain at the Bee Canyon Watershed.
• Laguna Niguel reported .71 inches of rain at the San Juan Creek Watershed.
• Dana Point reported 1.42 inches of rain at the Dana Point Ocean Institute.
