Laguna Niguel To Host Rattlesnake Avoidance Training For Dogs

The 20-minute classes will be at Beacon Hill Park and offered one Sunday each month from March to June.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Laguna Niguel officials will begin hosting classes on rattlesnake avoidance for dogs starting Sunday.

The rattlesnake avoidance classes will be offered one Sunday a month from March to June and cost $65 for a 20-minute session, city officials said.

The classes will be offered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the following dates:

Dogs will learn how to "avoid the sight, smells and sounds of rattlesnakes," Laguna Niguel officials said. Dogs must be at least 6-months-old to participate in the classes.

Dog owners can register for the training online. Classes will be at Beacon Hill Park.
