1 Dies In Wildomar 3-Car Crash, Jaws Of Life UsedTo Free Injured Victims

Cal Fire/Riverside County Firefighters aided two people trapped inside vehicles after a Tuesday morning Bundy Canyon crash. One later died.

WILDOMAR, CA — One person died as a result of a multicar crash Tuesday morning in Wildomar and another was transported with injuries, according to emergency responders.

Shortly before 6:30 a.m., firefighters and paramedics arrived at Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way, where three vehicles had collided, according to the department.

Both patients were extricated from a vehicle and rushed to area hospitals.

One patient suffered significant injuries while another suffered moderate injuries, according to Cal Fire spokesperson Tawny Castro. The person with significant injuries later died, according to Sheriff's spokesperson Deirdre Vickers.

"There were no reported injuries from the third driver," Vickers said. No arrests were made, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation, she said.
