Bicyclist Killed On Highway 74 Near Good Hope, Coroner IDs Victim
The pickup truck driver involved in the crash remained at the scene, the California Highway Patrol said.
GOOD HOPE, CA — A bicyclist who was killed after being stuck by a Toyota Tacoma near Good Hope was identified Sunday, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 5:14 p.m. Saturday and occurred on state Highway 74 at Taylor Road, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
A witness told the CHP the bicyclist was down on the dirt along the right-hand shoulder.

The pickup truck's driver remained at the scene, the CHP said.
The bicyclist, identified as 35-year-old Jaime Gutierrez from Perris, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Good Hope is an unincorporated area in Riverside County southeast of Lake Mathews and southwest of Lake Perris.
