Brush Fire Ignites In RivCo Near 15 Freeway

GOOD HOPE, CA — A brush fire ignited near El Toro Road and Lindell Road in Goodhope Wednesday afternoon, Cal Fire reported.

A Cal Fire spokesperson said the blaze was spotted shortly before 4:30 p.m. and quickly spread to 25 acres.

The fire was burning with a moderate rate of spread that is topography-driven, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire aircraft are preparing to initiate runs on the brusher.

There were no evacuations or road closures as a result of the blaze, and no other information was immediately available. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
