Brush Fire Stopped At 11 Acres In Lake Elsinore
The blaze threatened a structure, but firefighters managed to contain the brush fire before it could spread to nearby buildings.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A brush fire in Lake Elsinore Saturday posed a structure threat but was stopped without damaging buildings.
The fire was reported at 1 1/2 acres at 4:40 p.m. Saturday at Mission Trail Road and Vine Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The first arriving firefighters said it was burning at a moderate rate of spread with a structure threat, fire officials said.

By 9 p.m., fire officials reported that the fire was stopped and that firefighters would remain at the scene to finish clearing lines of vegetation around the fire and put out hotspots.
