Deadly Crash Reported In Lakeland Village

LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA — One person is dead and another is hurt following an early morning crash in Southwest Riverside County, the Riverside County Fire Department reports. The wreck happened around 2:35 a.m. Sunday in the community of Lakeland Village.

Fire officials say two vehicles were involved in the crash at the intersection of Grand Ave and Vail Street. One person died at the scene.

Another person had injuries described as minor.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and additional details were not immediately available.
