Deadly I-15 Crash Reported Near Temescal Valley

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A person was killed Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on the Corona (15) Freeway in Corona, fire and CHP officials report. The crash on the southbound freeway at Dos Lagos Drive occurred a little before 4:15 a.m.

Preliminary CHP reports indicated a vehicle crashed into the center divider.

One person died at the scene, while another was hospitalized with minor injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

A representative from the coroner's office was called out to the location at 4:49 a.m. A Sigalert was issued following the wreck, closing multiple lanes for several hours.
