Fatal Crash Closes Eastbound Ortega Highway
Preliminary reports indicate the crash involved a van and a dump truck.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA—Eastbound traffic on the Ortega Highway began to move late Thursday afternoon following a fatal crash that prompted a Sigalert.
As of 4:53 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was starting to allow eastbound traffic through, but the flow was very slow.
The fatal crash was reported shortly before 2 p.m. on the highway's eastbound side, east of Antonio Parkway, at Cristianitos Road in Orange County.
