Lake Elsinore Brush Fire Balloons To 73 Acres

LAKE ELSINORE, CA -- A brush fire broke that broke out Saturday afternoon in Lake Elsinore quickly grew to 73 acres. As of 9 p.m., the fire was fully contained.

Fire officials said the blaze was reported around 2:26 p.m. east of Interstate 15 near Main Street.

Fire officials said the blaze was being driven by the wind, but was held at 73 acres.

There were no structures threatened or injuries reported. No evacuations were ordered, officials said.
