House Fire Ignites In Lake Elsinore, Residents Displaced By Blaze

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A house fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in the city of Lake Elsinore, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department shared.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of smoke rising from a single-story home in the 15100 block of Etienne Street. Upon arrival, light smoke was visible from the roof, indicating an active blaze.

The fire was contained to the attic of the residence, and there were no injuries to those inside the home, according to department spokesperson Tawny Castro.

The cause of the attic fire remains under investigation, and the Red Cross has arrived to lend assistance to the residents, she said. No other information was immediately available.

Both SoCal Gas and Southern California Edison have been called to help mitigate the scene.
