MEAD VALLEY, CA — Authorities Saturday were investigating a shooting that left a 46-year-old man dead in Mead Valley.
The shooting was reported at 7:06 p.m. Friday in the 19600 block of Seaton Avenue, according to the Riverside Country Sheriff's Department.
When deputies arrived at the location, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, said Sgt. Ben Ramirez. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The Riverside County coroner's office identified the victim as Robert Toy of Mead Valley.
