One Dead In Crash Off Old Elsinore Road

MEAD VALLEY, CA — One person is dead and another hospitalized following a crash in Mead Valley on Thursday morning, the Riverside County Fire Department reports. The crash was reported about 6:35 a.m. at Old Elsinore Rd. and Smoketree Street.

Information was not immediately available on the identity or gender of the fatally injured person, who died at the scene.

Another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation by law enforcement officials, the fire department said.
