RivCo Deputy Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver During Pursuit: Investigation
Authorities were still looking for the suspect who crashed into and injured a deputy in Riverside County this week.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — An investigation was still underway on Friday two days after a Riverside County sheriff's deputy was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver, authorities told Patch.
On Wednesday around 9:03 p.m., the deputy was chasing an assault suspect across Moreno Valley in the area of Indian Street and Alessandro Boulevard when he was struck by an "unrelated vehicle," Lieutenant Deirdre Vickers of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department told Patch.
The driver of that vehicle fled the scene and has not been located.
