Riverside County Driver Slams Into OC Home, Killing Woman Inside: Cops
The victim was identified as 40-year-old Janet Carrillo.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A 35-year-old Riverside County man was behind bars in Orange County Monday on suspicion of a crash into a Garden Grove home early Sunday, killing a woman inside.
The suspect, whose name was not released, crashed a 2019 Toyota Camry into the residence in the 11800 block of Magnolia Street about 1:55 a.m. Sunday, according to Garden Grove police.
The victim was identified as 40-year-old Janet Carrillo.

Police received multiple calls of a hit-and-run, and when officers arrived, witnesses pointed to the suspect, who left the scene and was arrested without incident, police said.
Carrillo was trapped by the vehicle that crashed into her home and was later pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police alleged the suspect was apparently under the influence and that it appears to have contributed to the crash.
