Road Rage Incident Turns Deadly, RivCo Man Suspected Of Murder
The defendant allegedly fired on the victim, killing him.
INLAND EMPIRE, CA — A Riverside County man is suspected of murder following a road rage shooting last month that left a 52-year-old Fontana resident dead, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Abel Nunez-Alejandre, 28, of Eastvale is suspected in the June 27 slaying of Roger Albarran.
At about 4:30 p.m. that day, Nunez-Alejandre was driving a GMC Yukon while Albarran was in a Honda Civic traveling north on Etiwanda Avenue in Fontana.

For reasons unclear, "a road rage incident occurred," and Nunez-Alejandre fired a handgun at Albarran, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
"Albarran was struck by gunfire, lost control of his vehicle, and collided with a parked car," according to the sheriff's department.

The incident was reported in the 14100 block of Arrow Route.
Albarran was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Nunez-Alejandre was located and arrested on suspicion of murder, the law enforcement agency said. It's not clear how he was found or how deputies determined he was the shooter.
Nunez-Alejandre was booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, where he was being held without bail.
