SW Riverside County House Fire Consumes Garage, Damages Roof
Multiple county engine crews responded to the Wildomar blaze; no injuries were reported.
SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A house fire today in Wildomar tore through a garage and damaged a roof before it was contained, fire officials said.
The non-injury blaze was reported about 1:10 p.m. in the 32000 block of Bayberry Road, at the corner of Timber Lane, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Multiple county engine crews, along with personnel from the Murrieta Fire Department, encountered flames raging in the attached garage of the single-story property, from which all of the occupants escaped safely.

The fire extended to the roof of the house before crews stopped it 45 minutes later, according to reports from the scene. Damaged electrical lines were found, and technicians from Southern California Edison were dispatched to make repairs.
The exact source of the fire was under investigation.
