Wildfire Burns At Least 1 Acre In Jurupa Valley

JURUPA VALLEY, CA — Personnel from the Riverside County Fire Department/Cal Fire were working to quell a fire that had scorched an acre in Jurupa Valley on Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out along the Santa Ana River bottom in the 8400 block of Lakeview Avenue at 2:12 p.m., a fire spokesperson told Patch.

The blaze ignited amid scorching temperatures as a heat wave arrived in Southern California this week.
