LEMON GROVE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

She has taught children ages 5 and younger for the last 39 years. She has also taught and counseled women through many of life issues. She has remained faithful and solid like a rock over all those years. Always with a big welcoming smile.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

She is genuine and sincere in all she does. She pours out her heart for people.
