Mines Fire Breaks Out In Mendenhall Springs
The fire was initially reported Saturday at 3:31 p.m., according to Cal Fire.

MENDENHALL SPRINGS, CA — The Mines Fire on Mines Road in Mendenhall Springs in Alameda County is five acres and 50% contained, Cal Fire reported on social media at 1:04 p.m. Sunday.
The fire had been reported by Cal Fire as 10 acres on Saturday, but "after better mapping," Cal Fire said, the fire is five acres and 50% contained.
Mendenhall Springs is about eight miles east of Fremont, in Alameda County.
The fire was initially reported Saturday at 3:31 p.m., according to Cal Fire. Three personnel and one engine are assigned to the fire, according to the Cal Fire website.
