• Man Injured After Stabbing In Long Beach: Police Investigation Continues (patch.com) — Long Beach police are investigating a stabbing that left a man with a non-life-threatening upper body wound early Sunday on the 2100 block of Williams Street. Long Beach Fire Department crews took the victim to a hospital, and detectives are still searching for a suspect and motive. Residents may notice an ongoing police presence in the area as the investigation continues.

The deal raises rent to fair market value, ties most payments to measurable community benefits, and guarantees city-controlled access to a new community room and youth sailing and swimming programs for residents citywide.
