20K+ SoCal Residents Without Power Monday Morning

Power outages were reported across Southern California Monday morning, impacting thousands of residents.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Over 22,000 Southern California residents were left in the dark Monday after power outages were reported across the region, according to SoCal Edison.

The power outages were reported Monday morning and impact the following counties:

  • Los Angeles County: 20,236 residents affected.
  • San Bernardino County: 1,648 residents affected.
  • Riverside County: 927 residents affected.
  • Ventura County: 447 residents affected.
  • Orange County: 172 residents affected.
  • Tulare County: 128 residents affected.
  • Santa Barbara County: 115 residents affected.
  • Inyo County: 80 residents affected.
  • Kern County: 75 residents affected.
  • Mono County: 3 residents affected.

An Edison spokesperson was not immediately able to identify the cause, nor give an estimate on when power would be restored.
