Authorities ID Man Killed In 110 Freeway Crash

The crash happened Tuesday morning on the Harbor (110) Freeway just south of the Artesia (91) Freeway, according to authorities.

GARDENA, CA — Authorities have identified a man killed in a crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in Gardena Tuesday morning.

The Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office identified the man Wednesday as Los Angeles resident Antonio Torres, 30.

California Highway Patrol officials say Torres was ejected from a car during the crash, which happened around 11:35 a.m. He died at the scene.

The deadly crash shut down the northbound 110 Freeway through much of the afternoon and traffic was diverted onto the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway.

Details of what led up to the crash are still limited. It's unclear whether Torres was driving or wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened.
