
Housed in the modern beautiful Walt Disney Hall, Chef Ray Garcia’s Asterid has launched a new bar menu.
The former Patina space now has a bar menu packing big flavors into small bites.


Standout dishes include the tuna tatki with tuna, avocado, yuzu kosho and cactus fruit, sunchoke rosti with sunflower crème fraiche, empananda with octopus and chimichurii, quesadilla with mushroom and gruyere, pork belly with white kimchi, chicken liver mousse with a blood orange compote and beef tartare with truffle.

Larger plates also pack flavors with heat including the mushroom with turmeric aioli, black cod with ginger and coconut curry, pork chop with red miso, and short ribs with cactus and chipotle.
Desserts include a lemon tart, budino, rice pudding and cheesecake.

Asterid also has top notch cocktails, including their vodka and grape with lemon and prosecco, gin and guava with honey and peach, tequila and passionfruit with pineapple and hibiscus and El Zocalo with mescal, passion fruit, Campari, yellow chartreuse and habanero.
Asterid is the perfect spot for a quick bite before a show at the Music Centre or Walt Disney Hall or for a longer dinner to linger over cocktails. Located at 141 S.
