Dodgers Celebration Plans Announced: Ticket Info, Road Closures & More

LOS ANGELES — Downtown Los Angeles will welcome Dodgers fans Monday for a parade and celebration honoring the team’s back-to-back World Series wins.

The 45-minute parade will kick off at 11 a.m. at Temple Street and Broadway, continuing to Grand Avenue, Seventh Street and Figueroa Street. Fans are encouraged to gather along Grand Avenue, the longest stretch of the route, according to a city news release, which noted cars parked along the route will be towed.
A celebration at Dodger Stadium also starts at 11 a.m., with players set to arrive from the parade, according to the team.

Tickets went on sale at noon Sunday and can be purchased at https://bit.ly/3LhSGAg.
Due to street closures, fans cannot attend both the parade and the stadium event. Those who attend the parade are advised to take public transportation. For more information about taking public transit downtown, visit https://bit.ly/4oi9bdX. Those attending the stadium celebration are encouraged to buy parking with their event tickets.
Road closures are expected to begin as early as 5 a.m.
To accommodate the parade, left turn pockets at the Temple Street off-ramps from northbound Interstate 110 and southbound U.S. 101 will be closed, as will northbound and southbound I-110 off-ramps to Sixth Street and on-ramps at Fifth Street, according to the city.
More than 125 traffic officers will be deployed to manage vehicle flow and safety.
Monday will be an in-person school day for all Los Angeles Unified School District students.
However, the following court facilities will be closed on Monday:
- Stanley Mosk Courthouse, 111 N. Hill St.
- Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, 210 W. Temple St.
- Superior Court departments at the Spring Street Courthouse, 312 N. Spring St.
- Superior Court Archives and Records Center, 222 N. Hill St., Room 212.
