Firefighters Extricate Person From Apartment Window In Downtown LA

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters Saturday extricated a person standing in the window of a fourth-floor apartment unit that was involved with fire in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.

Firefighters were dispatched at 9:31 a.m. Saturday to a five-story structure at 634 S. San Julian St., one block west of San Pedro Street in the Skid Row area, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics were evaluating the patient for injuries.
