Firefighters Put Out Fire In Wall Of Boyle Heights Apartment

Firefighters rushed Saturday to a two-story, center hallway apartment building in Boyle Heights to put out a smoky fire inside one wall.

BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA — Firefighters rushed Saturday to a two-story, center hallway apartment building in Boyle Heights to put out a smoky fire inside one wall.

The firefighters were called at 2:26 p.m. to 323 N. Soto St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Amy Bastman.

It took 32 firefighters 21 minutes to find the source of the smoke inside an apartment and put out the flames, Bastman said.
