Gunman Who Chased Down Woman And Robbed Her At Large
The brazen daytime armed robbery happened when the gunman approached a woman in her car and then chased her as she tried to run away.
KOREATOWN, CA — A man suspected of robbing a woman at gunpoint in Koreatown was being sought Thursday by law enforcement.
Officers responded to the 3500 block of Sixth Street around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday to a report regarding an armed robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was inside her vehicle when she was approached by the armed suspect, who demanded the woman's purse, prompting her to step out of her car and begin running from the suspect.

``The suspect subsequently caught up to the victim and took her purse. The suspect was seen entering an awaiting vehicle and fled the location with the victim's property," police said in a statement.
Investigators described the suspect only as a roughly 30-year-old man with black hair.
