Hidden Camera Found In 80-Year-Old Woman's Potted Plants: Report
The device was hidden with fake grass and facing the front door, KTLA reported.
LOS ANGELES — A family is shaken after an 80-year-old Highland Park woman found a camera hidden among the potted plants outside her home on Jan. 5, KTLA reported.
Her son, whom the outlet identified as “Kenny” due to safety concerns, said he believes the device, hidden with fake grass and facing the front door, was placed to monitor his mother and target her home for burglary, according to KTLA.
He disconnected the battery pack and covered the lens, but could not turn the device off without a password, KTLA reported, adding the camera was handed over to detectives.
