Man Critically Wounded In LA After Shouting At Robbery Suspect

A man was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday with a gunshot wound when he shouted at a suspect who was committing a robbery.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man in his 30s was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday with a gunshot wound suffered when he shouted at a suspect who was committing a robbery, police said.

The shooting occurred just before 3 a.m. in the 8200 block of Sunset Boulevard, just west of Crescent Heights Boulevard, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The gun-wielding suspect fled the scene, Eisenman said. No description was available.
