Man with Gun Barricaded In Highland Park: LAPD

A SWAT team and crisis negotiators were sent to the scene, according to police.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities Thursday were working to arrest a man who barricaded himself in Highland Park after allegedly "brandishing" a handgun.

Officers were sent to the 6000 block of Delphi Street, west of North Figueroa Street, about 9:20 a.m. Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No injuries were reported.

A SWAT team and crisis negotiators were sent to the scene, according to police, who said the standoff was continuing early into the afternoon.
