Man Wounded In LA County Beach Shooting
A man was wounded after being shot at Dockweiler State Beach over the weekend.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was wounded in a shooting at Dockweiler State Beach Saturday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The shooting was reported just after 7 p.m. Saturday on the 9200 block of East Vista Del Mar, according to the LAPD.
Officers found the victim, a 40-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was transported to a local hospital, police said.

Meantime, police also investigated a badly damaged sedan that was seen in the beach parking lot nearby. The car had sustained heavy damage to its front end, KTLA reported.
It's unclear if the shooting and damaged car were related and the incident remains under investigation.
