Metro Bus Standoff Shuts Down Busy Intersection

A suspect believed to be armed remains in a standoff with police, shutting down San Fernando Road.

GLENDALE, CA — A man believed to be armed prompted the evacuation of a Metro bus in Glendale where the ongoing standoff has shut down the intersection at Los Feliz and San Fernando roads.

Glendale police are advising people to avoid the area as traffic is being routed away from the area.

It wasn't immediately clear if all passengers and the driver were evacuated from the bus. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
