SigAlert: Northbound 405 Lanes Closed In West LA

LOS ANGELES, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway near Culver Boulevard Tuesday morning.

The SigAlert was issued just before 8:30 a.m. and was expected to last until about 9 a.m., according to the CHP. Six lanes are blocked. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

It wasn't immediately clear what triggered the freeway closure. The SigAlert is one of several across Los Angeles County Tuesday morning.

An overturned box truck prompted the CHP issue a SigAlert for westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena. The CHP also issued a SigAlert for the closure of three lanes of the connector road from the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway to the northbound Sacramento (5) Freeway near Glendale for three hours just before 5 a.m. due to a collision.
