Pay attention to cars as the drivers do stare

Instead of the road, at costumes you wear

And don't forget the rule for crossing the street

Look left, right, left before moving your feet

Stay with your group, no wandering alone

And never enter into any stranger’s home

Then when you've returned from all trick or treating

Have an adult check your goodies before you start eating

Safety should always be first on your mind

That way you’ll be sure to have a grand time

Safety is the California Highway Patrol scream

For a fun, memorable, happy Halloween
