The Los Altos Police log for Nov. 8 makes one thing clear: Catalytic converters are valuable and cars parked in the street or a driveway are vulnerable.

 

The Los Altos Police log for Nov. 8 had two catalytic converter thefts, the first in a long time, but surely not the last, since the market for precious metals is good.
