Sketch of Foothill Robbery Suspect Released

The suspect was wearing a black-zippered hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up. He appeared to be 18-20 years old, 5'6" tall, weighing 160-180 pounds, of slender build, medium-light complexion, and had no facial hair or noticeable tattoos or jew

 

Police have released two sketches of a man suspected of robbing two Foothill Community College students as they walked across the footbridge near the campus center Monday morning.

The sketches were created by law enforcement personnel and based are on information from witness interviews. The Foothill DeAnza Community College  Police has said it believes there is no current threat to the campus.

The two students were not hurt during the 9 a.m. incident, in which the suspect displayed a gun, but did not point it at them, according to campus police. The suspect fled toward campus with the victims' two black backpacks, and a 90-minute search, using campus and other agency police turned up nothing.

Campus police assessed the threat as minimal and did not cancel clases or lock down the campus. Classes continued to meet throughout the day and evening.
