SC Co. Crews Search For Body In San Tomas Aquino Creek
The search continued late into the night but was hampered by weather and water conditions.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY — A body was reported floating in San Tomas Aquino Creek in Santa Clara Sunday afternoon, but officers and rescue personnel were not able to find and recover the body and are still trying to do so Monday, police said.
Officers responded at 4:29 p.m. to the report of the body in the creek in the area of San Tomas Expressway and Monroe Street.
The search continued late into the night but was hampered by weather and water conditions in the creek. Regional search and rescue crews are also assisting in the search effort Monday, according to police.
