2 Malibu Locals Compete On 'Worst Cooks in America: Spoiled Rotten'
Eddie Money's daughter Jesse is among those competing in the Food Network show featuring silver-spoon babies with awful cooking skills.

MALIBU, CA — Two Malibu locals are among those competing in the latest installment of Food Network's "Worst Cooks in America," in a season focused on well-to-do competitors, nepo babies and the silver-spoon set, according to the network.
"Worst Cooks in America: Spoiled Rotten" offers a culinary bootcamp run by mentors Anne Burrell and Tiffany Derry in their attempt to make chefs out of their recruits. This season includes basic training drills like an army crawl, obstacle course and calisthenics, in addition to cooking-related challenges.
“This season’s 'Worst Cooks' have never had to take care of themselves, and they are hilariously inept in the kitchen,” Warner Bros. Discovery's Betsy Ayala said in a release. “Anne and Tiffany have their work cut out for them and along the way, the recruits gain independence and confidence along with their cooking skills.”

Those recruits include two Malibu locals, Jesse Money, who lives in Malibu, and Chelsko Thompson, who grew up in the city. Here are their bios, provided by Food Network:
"Jesse grew up in a rockstar lifestyle as daughter of the late singer-songwriter Eddie Money. On the road with her family, she became accustomed to five-star hotels and fancy restaurants. Now a music artist herself, she loves to be on stage and wants to learn to perform in the kitchen. Her dad loved cooking and Jesse wants to honor him by recreating some of his favorite dishes."

"Chelsko grew up in Malibu with parents who indulged her every wish, including fancy dinners, vacations in Italy and designer clothes. Now that she has moved out of state, she has to fend for herself everywhere – including the kitchen. Her only go-to dish is salad, and she knows she needs boot camp to add to her cooking repertoire."
The contestants vie for the title of most-improved cook; judges Matt Abdoo, Adrienne Cheatham and Michael Jenkins will crown the winner of the $25,000 grand prize in the finale episode on Feb. 4.
"Worst Cooks in America: Spoiled Rotten" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Food Network and is now streaming on Max.
