MALIBU, CA — A portion of Kanan Dume Road was shut down Wednesday morning due to a crash.
Kanan Dume Road was closed in both directions between Cavalleri Road and Mulholland Highway due to a traffic collision that resulted in downed power lines at around 10 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The closure point was about a mile north of Pacific Coast Highway.

Southern California Edison was on the scene assessing the downed power lines, according to city officials.
At 1:30 p.m., a single lane reopened. Flaggers were directing traffic through the single lane. Motorists were warned to expect delays.
