Want To Get Involved In Malibu's Local Government? Here's Your Chance
The city has many vacant positions on its commissions and committees.

MALIBU, CA — City officials are now accepting applications from those interested in serving on nine city board.
The City Council will consider applicants interested in being appointed to the commissions and committees. There are many seats on the boards that are either vacant or have incumbents whose terms are expiring.
Applications are being accepted for the following boards:

- Homelessness Task Force
- Malibu Arts Commission
- Mobilehome Park Rent Stabilization Commission
- Parks And Recreation Commission
- Planning Commission
- Public Safety Commission
- Public Works Commission
- Wastewater Advisory Committee
- Building Board Of Appeals
Each body makes recommendations to the council within their specific purviews, among other functions.
The deadline to apply to Jan. 8 at 5:30 p.m.
