Malibu Chili Cook Off Tickets On Sale, Dates Set
It's that time of year again, Malibu! Don't miss out on Malibu's favorite annual event full of good chili, fun games and carnival rides.

MALIBU, CA — It's almost time for the 40th annual Malibu Chili Cook Off again, promising fun carnival games, rides and, of course, great chili.
Tickets went on sale Wednesday for the beloved community event to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu. This year's event will run from Sept. 2-5 at 23575 Civic Center Way. Single day admission tickets are $15 presale and $20 bought day of. Tickets will not be sold at the cook off. Tickets will be sold online through Sept. 5.
Tickets are available throughout the weekend and the cook off will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

As always, the event will feature a number of food trucks and pop up shops to compliment the chili. Some of the expected food vendors include: Bao Dim Sum House, Roll'n Lobster Food Truck, a birria taco truck and a pizza truck. Retail vendors will include: Aviator Nation, sunglass and jewelry brand Disco Lemonade and Arbor Collective.
As always, the proceeds from the annual Malibu Chili Cook-off go to the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

Last year's cook off drew in thousands of guests and saw a nail-biting chili competition. Green Truck won first place in last year's traditional chili category, with a family operation called The Red Hot Chili Preppers taking first place in the vegan/vegetarian category.
