Malibu Hosts Two Halloween Events for Kids, Teens
The city will host its annual Haunted Maze and Movie and Malibu Halloween Carnival at Bluffs Park this Friday and next.

MALIBU, CA -- The city Malibu will be hosting two events for kids and teens for Halloween this weekend and next.
This Friday, the city will host its annual Haunted Maze and Movie at Bluffs Park. The Haunted Maze will be open from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the movie starts at sunset. Admission for the event, which is hosted by The Harry Barovsky Memorial Youth Commission, is $5 per person. Guests who bring three canned food items to be donated to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank receive free admission.
The creepy Haunted Maze will feature zombies, clowns, witches and other creatures that will get your skin crawling, and is appropriate for teens, but might be a little too scary for younger children.

At sunset, the animated Halloween film “Frankenweenie” will be screened on the multi-purpose field.
Next Friday, the city will host the Malibu Halloween Carnival at Bluffs Park. The event, which is intended for kids ages 2 -10, is free for the general public. Game tickets and bounce house tickets are $5.

Event highlights include carnival game booths, arts and crafts, costume parade, bounce houses, Trick-or-Treat Trail, and delicious treats from the Baby Mini Doughnuts and The Lobos Truck food trucks.
The event goes from , 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the children’s costume parade beginning at 3:30 p.m. and all participants will receive a prize.
Donations of canned food items, which will benefit Malibu High School Thanksgiving Baskets program, will be accepted at the event. Anyone who donates five canned food items will receive a bounce house wristband.
