Meet an “Amazing” Team With Inspiring Spirit and Bounce

The SAN DIEGO SPLASH is an all female basketball team for 80+ players only. It has members like Grace Larsen, 91, Marge Carl, 87 and Meg Skinner, 91, who positively thrill to a good dribble and shoot. The team is Meg’s brainchild. She’s a retired physical education teacher who helped create The Splash over 20 years ago.

The Splash are so accomplished, that they landed a corporate sponsor, Miracle Whip, this year. For Grace, who laced up her first basketball shoes at 78; to be part of such a team is a dream come true. What a powerful inspiration for us all!
