Missing Hiker Found In Malibu
A hiker reported missing Tuesday has been found, authorities said.
MALIBU, CA — A 61-year-old woman who was reported missing after she went hiking in Malibu has been located, authorities said Wednesday.
Denise Elaine Williams had last been in contact with a friend Monday before she went hiking near Sweetwater Mesa Road. Authorities on Tuesday asked for the public's help finding Williams after she did not return from the hike.
On Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said she had been found, but did not disclose where or when she was located.
